Domaine de la Garnaude, Cote de Provence Rose
From the birth place of Rose, this very classy Rose is made of Grenache and Syrah. Typical pale colour with notes of strawberry and rhubarb. Palate is crisp and fresh with delicate, juicy red fruit and a mineral edge. Serious, but very enjoyable and a perfect match for Mediterranean food.
The domaine de la Garnaude has 21 hectares in production in the region of Provence (South of France) near Gonfaron, a famous little village typical of Provence where the cicada sings, “the country of flying donkeys”. This region is of great wine tradition.
The arrival of Fanny and Anthony Lamoot in 2013 have change a lot, these young winemakers. Fanny and Anthony enthusiastically combine modernity and tradition in their methods.
